Smoked Salmon Club Sandwich

Ingredients

3 slices of La Récolte de St-Méthode bread
85 g of smoked salmon, sliced
2 leaves of romaine lettuce
3 slices of tomato
2 to 3 slices of bacon, cooked
 
For the cream cheese spread
¼ cup of cream cheese
1 tbsp of mayonnaise
1 tbsp of shallots, finely chopped
Zest of ½ a lemon
1 tsp of capers, chopped
1 tsp of fresh dill, chopped

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix together all of the ingredients for the cream cheese spread; set aside.
  2. Toast the slices of bread in a toaster, then spread generously with the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Assemble the club sandwich in the following order: bread, smoked salmon, lettuce, bread, tomato, bacon, and bread.
  4. Spear the club sandwich with 4 toothpicks and cut into 4.
