Cream and Maple Sugar Bread

  • 4 slices of St-Méthode’s White Loaf bread
  • ½ cup of 35% whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • ¼ cup of maple sugar, to serve
  • Some maple syrup, to serve


  1. In a bowl, whip the cream until very soft peaks form. Add the bread and let it soak for about ten minutes.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the bread slices and grill lightly on each side.
  3. Plate the bread slices, dust with maple sugar, and drizzle with maple syrup. Serve.
