  • Cooking time
  • 2 portions

Ingredients

  • 175g (approximately 6 slices) turkey breast
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 tomato, sliced into 5 to 6 slices
  • 2 slices red onion
  • 750ml (3 cups) shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 45 to 60ml (3 to 4 tbsp) regular or light mayonnaise, to taste
  • 15 to 30ml (1 to 2 tbsp) light Greek dressing from the store
  • 15ml (1 tbsp) softened butter
  • 4 slices of Homestyle bread with stone ground old-fashioned grains
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

Place the turkey breast slices on a wooden board. Layer on top the cheese slices, tomato slices, red onions, and lettuce. Using a sharp knife, finely chop all the ingredients until they are the same size. Add the mayonnaise and mix. Then add the dressing and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

Take the bread slices and lightly butter them. On half of the bread slices, add the turkey filling, then close the sandwich. Serve and enjoy.
