Hawaiian-inspired sandwich with ham and pineapple

4 slices of St-Méthode homestyle Grand-Mère bread with stone-ground old-fashioned grains
2 slices mozzarella cheese
4 pineapple rounds, patted dry
8 slices of ham
4 slices of any lettuce


2 TBSP BBQ sauce
2 TBSP mayonnaise
Salt and pepper


  1. Mix together all spread ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Spread on bread slices, layer half the slices with ingredients in the order listed, then top each with one of the remaining slices. Cut in 2, if desired, and enjoy!
