Italian-Style Grilled Cheese

  • 1 sandwich


3 or 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce (to taste)

2 slices of prosciutto

1 slice of lactose-free Havarti cheese

4 slices of spicy salami

4 to 6 dried tomatoes

4 or 5 chopped basil leaves

Fresh pepper

Lactose-free margarine in sufficient quantities

2 slices of Campagnolo white italian loaf bread


Step 1: Spread margarine on one side of each slice of bread. Garnish the bread slices with the tomato sauce. Add all other ingredients and close the sandwich.


Step 2: In a frying pan over medium heat, brown the grilled cheese for about 2 minutes or until it has a nice coloring. Return the grilled cheese and brown the other slice of bread until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!
