Grilled Cheese Club Sandwich with Bacon and Tomato

Cooking time: 8 minutes
1 sandwich


2 tbsp of butter, divided
3 slices of St-Méthode Organic Kamut Bread
4 slices of cheddar cheese
2 slices of bacon, cooked
2 slices of tomato


1. In a pan, melt half the butter. Place a slice of bread in the pan and top with 2 slices of cheddar and the bacon. Close the sandwich with another slice of bread.
2. Grill one side of the sandwich in the pan until golden, then flip over.
3. On the grilled side, add the 2 remaining slices of cheddar and the tomato. Add the last slice of bread to close the sandwich.
4. When the pan side of the sandwich is golden, take it out and add the rest of the butter to the pan.
5. Return the sandwich to the pan to grill the last side of bread; remove from heat when the cheese has melted.
6. Hold the club sandwich together with 4 toothpicks, cut in 4 and serve.
